  • 1. What is the 'Apologetics' course?

    The Apologetics course contains three modules of focused study in the field of Apologetics. The first module is taught by Dr. Norman Geisler and covers the 12 steps to show that Christianity is true. The second module is taught by various scholars and apologists, covering specific issues in the field of Apologetics. The final module is taught by David Geisler and covers different approaches in applying Apologetics..

  • 2. How do I register for a course?

    To register for a course you need to fill out the registration form on the home page. Once you are registered you can then purchase a particular course (Currently our only available course is Apologetics).

  • 3. What am I purchasing?

    After registering for the SES Lay Institute you have the ability to begin purchasing courses. Currently our only course is the Apologetics course. This course consists of three distinct modules. When you purchase the course, you are purchasing all of the modules. There will be no new fees once you have purchased a course.

  • 4. Can I skip ahead to any module I like?

    No. You must complete the courses in a linear fashion. For each module you will move from one lesson to the next until you have completed the module. Upon completion of this module, the next module will open up to you. After you have completed a lesson it will remain available for you to review.

  • 5. Will there be courses other than the Apologetics course available?

    YES!!!! We are currently in production of our 2nd course: Biblical Studies..... We are hoping for an April 2016 release of that course.

  • 6. Is there a time limit for me to complete the course?

    No, the course is completely self-paced. There are no time restrictions for the students; you are free to study as you are able.

  • 7. Are there other required materials for the Apologetics course?

    No. We suggest you purchase and read I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist by Dr. Norm Geisler & Dr. Frank Turek. We do not require that you purchase this textbook. The course is completely self-contained.
